Abstract: Solidarische Landwirtschaft wird als Hoffnungsträgerin der sozial-ökologischen Transformation in der Landwirtschaft diskutiert. Welchen Beitrag solidarische Landwirtschaft aber in der Praxis tatsächlich leisten kann und durch welche spezifischen Mechanismen dieser Beitrag erbracht wird, ist nicht hinreichend erforscht. Der vorliegende Beitrag versucht, diese Leerstelle durch eine explorative Untersuchung zu adressieren. Der rekonstruierte transformative Mechanismus der solidarischen Produktionsweise gibt Aufschluss über das Potenzial solidarischer Landwirtschaft für die sozial-ökologische Transformation.
