NATURE MANAGEMENT, LANDSCAPE AND THE CAP

Floor M. Brouwer and Frans E. Godeschalk

No 29076, Report Series from Wageningen University and Research Center, Agricultural Economics Research Institute

Abstract: The integration of nature management, landscape and environmental concerns into the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) has gained momentum with the CAP reforms adopted in June 2003. The report explores instruments and approaches that contribute to the inte-gration of nature conservation and landscape concerns into the CAP. A broader use of the CAP instruments might help to achieve nature types in the Netherlands.
