Abstract:
This paper describes the context for the large scale CGE modeling at the United States International Trade Commission and highlights efforts to improve our models to meet customer demands. We describe our role as middlemen between policy modelers and policy makers and the challenges that arise. We summarize the current large scale USITC CGE model and provide a brief history of CGE work at the ITC.
