Abstract: Inhalt dieser Studie ist ein Überblick über die aktuellen Entwicklungen des LLLs und des damit verbundenen politischen Strebens in Deutschland, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund einer alternden Gesellschaft. Neben der Bedeutung des LLLs wird dabei auf die jüngsten politischen Pläne und Umsetzungen sowie auf empirische Befunde eingegangen, um schließlich daraus politische Handlungsempfehlungen abzuleiten.
