Abstract: Die Zielsetzung des AmbientWeb, des Ambient Intelligence-Projekts der Technischen Universität Darmstadt, besteht darin, die Lebensqualität in den Bereichen Gesundheit, Arbeit, Freizeit und Mobilität zu erhöhen. Um die ökonomische Bedeutung und das Potenzial des AmbientWeb aufzuzeigen, betrachten wir Implementierung und Anwendung sowohl aus betriebswirtschaftlicher als auch volkswirtschaftlicher Perspektive.
