Abstract: Because it helps broaden the range of skills of people in industry, continuing training is regarded as contributing to individuals' career advancement by creating opportunities for better pay and improving qualifications... In this respect training is also considered as an investment for the individual concerned and should consequently have an impact in wage terms.
