Abstract:
"Service Studies" and public management are two fields of research that have developed separately, although they share a common target (ser-vices delivery). This paper is an attempt to enhance the dialogue about service production and innovation among the paradigms of public admin-istration (Traditional Public Administration, New Public Management and New Public Governance) and the analytical perspectives used in service studies (Assimilation to the goods logic, Demarcation and Integration).
