Abstract: This article examines how the circulation of knowledge about agricultural equipment has evolved in technical and agricultural education. The first section provides a historical overview of the role of the State in the production and diffusion of knowledge on agricultural equipment which shows a process of privatization. The second part aims to understand how knowledge about agricultural equipment circulates within the agricultural and technical education system today. To this end, the authors conducted a survey with agricultural machinery teachers. This revealed the decisive role played by the private agricultural machinery sector in the circulation of this knowledge. The final section discusses the potential impact of this privatisation on the content of this transmitted knowledge.
