Abstract:
"This paper presents findings of the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the pilot program 'Perspective Re-entry' in Germany. The aim of the program is to support the re-entry of women into the labour market after a family-related absence from work of at least three years. Eight of ten women are (very) satisfied with the program. Almost two-thirds of the surveyed participants who completed the program are employed. Most of them work part-time (40 percentage points) or marginal part-time (16 percentage points), about six percentage points work in full-time. Partners and household-related services can facilitate the re-entry process and support a re-entry into full-time work that provides a living wage." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
