Abstract:
"Integration agreements between caseworkers and job seekers are intended to increase the transparency and commitment of the placement process. It is an open question whether they indeed help the unemployed in taking-up a new job. Focusing on unemployment insurance benefits recipients, our report provides first evidence on the causal effects of the timing of integration agreements on the reemployment chances of the unemployed."
