Abstract:
Here is a detailed description of the Poland Agriculture and Water Quality Protection Project (PAWQP), a four-year effort to address agricultural water pollution issues through a multifocus approach. Project leaders deal with water quality issues through multi-level education efforts, assistance in policy development, and demonstration of sustainable farming and waste management practices in selected watersheds in northeastern and northwestern Poland.
