Abstract: The JRC's Foresight and Behavioural Insights Unit hosted a workshop in Brussels on 23 February 2016 gathering government representatives from European countries, as well as staff from the European Commission and the OECD. The workshop report gives an overview of the results of the discussions on (1) how to examine a variety of policy issues from a behavioural perspective (consumer protection, employment, environment, health, public sector modernisation and reform, and taxation) and (2) ways to strengthen cooperation at EU level on the application of behavioural insights to policy.
