Abstract: These proceedings consist of presentations and a summary of a workshop on "Commodity Market Development in Europe - Outlook" held in November 2009 in Brussels. The workshop discussed short- and medium-term commodity baseline projections of agricultural markets in Europe. Policy makers, market and modelling experts from the EU and abroad also discussed emerging factors of EU agricultural market developments, especially volatile agricultural commodity prices, stock levels, biofuels, asynchronous approval of CMO crops and the economic crisis.
