Bulgaria’s Main Trading Partners in Sub-Saharan Africa
Eduard Marinov
MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
The importance of African countries, especially of sub-Saharan ones, to Bulgaria is determined by the increasing role of the region in both global economy and policy, as well as its immense economic potential and natural resources. Bulgaria’s policy towards African countries is based on one hand on the traditionally good relations with many of them, and on the other – on their preferential political and economic relations with the EU. The paper analyses the dynamics and commodity structure of trade relations of Bulgaria and its main trade partners in sub-Saharan Africa for the period 2003-2013.
