Aid and Environment in Mozambique

Alda Tomo and Nícia Givá

No wp-2014-102, WIDER Working Paper Series from World Institute for Development Economic Research (UNU-WIDER)

Abstract: Mozambique benefits from environmental aid-related funds, but it is still unclear whether donor commitments render directly into projects that are copiously implemented for the purposes stated and what aid flows have actually been doing and are doing in the area of aid and environment in Mozambique. This study aims at determining what aid flows have actually been doing and to identify sectors prioritized by the donors.
