Abstract: The relationship between wage and foreign trade liberalisation of Turkey is investigated with using the Turkey Statistical Instıtue Household Budget Survey Data in this study. Variation in wages is investigated with making distinction between open sector (manifacturing) and closed sector (services). Others factors (age, education, sex, firm size etc.) rather than sectoral differences is important to explain wage differences in Turkey. Average wage of services workers is higher than average wage of manifacturing workers in each years investigating. But as age, education level and experiences of workers have increased the wage differences between these sectors have lessened.
