Abstract:
Scanner data were used to analyze expenditure shares, national average prices, and demographics for chicken products labeled raised without antibiotics (RWA). The results showed a rise in household expenditures for RWA-labeled products across market segments. Further, the analysis found demographic differences for those who bought RWA-labeled chicken products.
