Abstract:
St. Louis Fed President James Bullard welcomed community bankers, regulators and researchers to the Community Banking in the 21st Century research and policy conference. He also welcomed a third sponsor for the conference: The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has joined the Federal Reserve System and the Conference of State Bank Supervisors in presenting this sixth annual conference. Bullard also discussed a handful of topics related to technology, including ?fintech,? artificial intelligence and innovation hubs. ?The changing landscape of financial services is an important reason for this conference,? he said.
