Abstract: Abstract The interrelationship among four constructs, namely, institutional capacity, infrastructure governance, infrastructure equity and the nation-building process in Ethiopia were empirically and conceptually investigated through a conceptual structural model prepared by using Smart Partial Least Square 3 software. Among the four constructs, infrastructure equity has a significant direct effect on the nation-building process. However, the hypotheses of institutional capacity and infrastructure governance have indirectly supported to influence the nation-building process in Ethiopia. The mediation analyses are also computed and results showed institutional capacity’s effects on infrastructure governance, infrastructure equity and nation-building process which can be explained via the infrastructure equity mediator.
