Abstract: Abstract The relationship between the digital economy and the situation on the labor market in the regions has been studied. The regions of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation were grouped using the method of multidimensional cluster analysis based on a set of indicators characterizing the state of the labor market, indicators of the development of the digital economy. A hierarchical dendrogram was constructed for 14 regions of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation. The data showed that the development of digitalization of processes in organizations had little effect on the level of employment and unemployment.
