Abstract:
Abstract This book is really a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Land originally published in 2018. According to the editor’s introduction, this special issue was “to provide a set of contributions regarding the link between cities and nature” (Panagopoulos 2019, 2) plus emerging opportunities and challenges for both researchers and professionals. Besides the introduction of the special issue, there are nine separate peer reviewed papers from the USA, Europe, Japan, and Australia, making it an international in scope.
