Produção do serviço de transporte público urbano por ônibus: aspectos da organização do trabalho

Abstract: This study describes the production of the urban public transport system, based on the working systems of organization in the firms of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The Brazilian experience on the urban bus transport management can bring some references to this question. The present study identifies the means of labour organization like plans and rules of work, activities related to managing and maintaining tasks, schedules, workloads, employee's qualification requirement and participation in working programs. It concludes that work organization in firms of urban collective transport system is guided by rules proceeding from local authorities of transport and traffic.
