Abstract:
The role of religion in the formation of the Armenian Diaspora of the Russian Federation is considered in the article. The key characteristics of the Armenian clergy are considered. Analyzes the importance of religion in preserving ethnic uniqueness. The author defines the stages of the formation and development of religion in the Armenian Diaspora in the Russian Federation. Historical facts that influence the role of religion in the development of the Armenian Diaspora are given. The role of religion at the present stage in the life of the Armenian diaspora is underlined. Examples are given of the interaction of the Armenian Apostolic Church with the Armenian Diaspora in Russia. The study reveals the main goals and objectives of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The author determines the role of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the life of the Armenian diaspora in the territory of the Russian Federation.
