Possibilities of Using Social Marketing in the Prevention of Child Abuse in the Family

Abstract: Purpose. The article analyzes new approaches in the system of prevention of cruel treatment of children in the family. The essence of social marketing as a tool for solving the issues of prevention of family trouble is revealed. The special role of the communication environment and information support for the activities of various subjects of prevention is noted.Methods. The study uses a set of general scientifc methods, such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, system-functional and complex, resource approach. Within the framework of the stated topic, a systematization of theoretical provisions and modern approaches to the problem of preventing cruel treatment of children in the family was carried out on the basis of a study of the works of various authors, regulatory documents, and ofcial statistics.outcomes. The theoretical and practical signifcance of the presented study lies in the fact that it can become the basis for further study of social marketing tools for the prevention of family dysfunction and abuse of children in the family. The analysis actualizes the importance for the practice of using social marketing tools in solving the problem of child abuse in the family. The introduction of social marketing tools and their development can increase the effectiveness of preventive activities of state and non-state organizations focused on working with families and children.
