The analysis of the results of the study made it possible to identify the existing situation on this problem in a  number of regions of the country and systematize both the main factors currently constraining the development of the management system for reducing the level of disability of the working population in the regions, and to determine the type of necessary assistance required by the regions from the federal authorities for the successful development of this management system. The article was prepared as part of the research work of the state task of the RANEPA.
