It demonstrates the features of urban changes in the context of the urban regime dynamics in Saint Petersburg. The urban regime transformation goes from the growth to the progressive regime of the middle class, there was identified new transitional urban regime of situational (tactical) coordination. Urban regime and its impact in different city parts were investigated on the basis of maps. Conclusions: Ecological and eco-cultural conflicts are relevant indicators of the urban regime dynamics and changes of the urban space.
