On Some Topical Issues of Parallel Imports as a Component of Economic Security in the Russian Federation

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to consider the problems of the functioning of the customs service of Russia and the regulation of parallel imports in order to ensure economic security in the current state of foreign trade. The tasks that the authors solve are to reveal the main directions of development of customs activities as a tool for ensuring economic security, to consider the issue of customs regulation of parallel imports subject to the implementation of the concept of “Intelligent Customs†and the formation of a single information space within the EAEU.As a result, the authors have organized the most important trends and problematic issues of parallel imports today, as one of the elements of the economic security of the Russian Federation, and proposed ways to solve these problems.Â
