Abstract:
In the management system of modern editorial the post of chief editor is one of the key. The article is described the main functional responsibilities, rights and responsibilities of the chief editor for the production of a media product. Production and creative challenges, faced by them, are related to the formation of the ideological and thematic line publication, and the planning of journalistic staff, and representative functions, and another. In the article the author gives a detailed analysis the most important knowledge and skills necessary for the person responsible for this post.
