Abstract:
The article describes the process of formation of representative democracy as a specific framework within which generated conditions for certain forms of political struggle. The political struggle is an essential attribute of parlamentarism. It is not an end in itself, but derives from the characteristics of the structure and the mechanisms of representative democracy.
