Abstract:
The article examines the factors influencing the process of decision-making in the organs of state power and bodies of local self-government; in particular the attention is focused on the informal interactions. The authors describe the mechanisms of avoiding the negative impact of informal practices by establishing communication between the authorities and the society. The necessity of introduction and perfection of these mechanisms in the activities of the authorities. Recommendations on the activities of the press services as a basic element of the mechanism of interaction of bodies of state power and bodies of local self-government with society through the media. Also formulated a number of directions in which to develop research in the field of managerial decision-making.
