Abstract:
In the article, various approaches to an interpretation of the concept “information policy†are considered, and the author’s understanding of information policy of Russia in present period of oppositions of civilizations is given. Information policy is presented as activity for production, distribution and interpretation of information of which the synthesis of interests of government and civil society, which is the key to comprehensive safety of the country, has to be result. Information policy connects together the main paradigms of domestic and foreign policy of the state, representing the synthesized representation of their major components.
