Terrorism Etiology

Abstract: Terrorist acts are preceded by processes of political radicalization, which, functionally, is an active preparation for the confrontation with the authorities. Descriptive, radicalization is the change of feelings, beliefs, and behaviors that justifies violence. The article discusses the radicalization of behavior that takes place on an individual and group level on the bases: personal grievances, ideological factors, adherence to the radical group on the basis of love, step of joining a radical group of like-minded group of extreme cohesion in conditions of isolation and threats from the outside, competition with other groups with similar views for the sympathy of the masses, the competition with the government, hatred of the outgroup, martyrdom, the strength of the organization.
