The Practice of Forest Certification in Canada and the Lessons for China

Abstract: Forest certification has become an important governance mechanism of improving forest management. The present situation of forest certification in Canada is introduced in this paper, and the measures for promoting forest certification in Canada are analyzed. By referring to the experience of Canada, several recommendations are put forward for promotion of forest certification in China.
