Infrastructure Investment and Regional Economic Development in China

Abstract: This paper analyzes the effect of infrastructure investment on the increase of regional economic aggregate and the industrial development in China from the perspective of quantitative method. It also investigates the current situation of transportation infrastructure development in China. The policies of foreign infrastructure investment and regional economic growth and their characteristics are introduced. Finally, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions.
