It has been contributing around 19 per cent of the GDP and two-thirds of the population is depending on the sector. To facilitate farmers in terms of better and timely price realization and commercialization of agricultural activities e-NAM was introduced by the government to integrate all APMCs across the country. The study is confined only in UP, based on secondary data with few case studies. This paper analyses the performance of e-NAM in Lucknow Division in Uttar Pradesh during period 2018-2023. Though e-NAM is providing better price realization, transparency, less time consuming bidding, on time payment The number of registered farmers in e-NAM is increasing in UP and the sale quantity of two crops Paddy and Wheat is also increasing. There is need to educate the farmers about the benefits and operation in UP to implement e-NAM in successful way.
