Abstract:
The objective of the study was to explore the application of linear optimization models for improved allocation of funds from the Polish Rural Development Program. Separate linear optimization models are constructed for regional and national allocation problems. The funds allocated for individual measures are derived based on the potential number of beneficiaries within each region, using objective distribution criteria that are similar between regions.
