Abstract: The article analysed the financial situation of farmers households as compared with other socio-economic groups in the years 2000, 2005 and 2012. The analysis examined the households finances: the amount and structure of disposable income and the mode of its disbursement. The research was based on aggregated data derived from Household Budgets Surveys, published annually by the Central Statistical Office.
