Abstract:
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of modern times. In the long term, humanity must achieve climate neutrality in order not to lead to a breakdown in civilization development. This requires significant mitigation efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, with the passage of time and ongoing climate change, adaptation measures are also necessary to allow people to adapt to changing conditions. Some countries, including those belonging to the European Union, are making efforts to achieve the goal of climate neutrality. This involves significant financial and organizational effort. The aim of the article is to indicate changes in agriculture and rural areas that may take place in the perspective of 2030 and the application of mitigation and adaptation policies. The article was written on the basis of available literature.
