Particular attention is paid to the agricultural sector and export specialization, which have long been important factors in the country's economic growth. Recently, services have begun to play a similar role. The second part of the article is entirely devoted to the current situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in March 2019. The article presents ways of dealing with the pandemic in the field of health and economy.
