Abstract:
One of the activities related to the transformation of the spatial structure of rural areas are land consolidation and exchanges, implemented under the Rural Development Program (RDP). When implementing contemporary land consolidation, it is important to undertake activities promoting creative attitudes among residents of rural areas and engaging them in projects related to creating a development concept for the entire area. The article proposes new ways of initiating dialogue with land consolidation participants at the early stages of consolidation works by using qualitative social research (focused group interview technique – ZWG). It presents the possibilities of exchanging information (concerning the consolidation area) between residents and land consolidation surveyors-designers using the LC-CApp (Land Consolidation Crowdsourcing Application) mobile application, based on the idea of crowdsourcing. The article presents the results of research on the project entitled “Activation of the local community in rural development projects”. The article presents the results of research conducted as part of the project entitled "Activation of the local community in rural development projects", co-financed by the European Union under Scheme II of Technical Assistance "National Rural Network" of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020.
