Employee’s Selection and Organisation Performance in Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) Organisation

Abstract: The study on Employee’s selection process and organisation performance was guided by four research objectives were oriented towards determining the respondents profiles in terms of gender, age, level of education, type of employment and length of service, the level of employees selection process in NPA Juba southern Sudan, the level of organisation performance in NPA Juba Southern Sudan and establishing the relationship between employee’s selection process and organisation performance in Juba southern Sudan. The study was guided by descriptive correlation research design, purposive and stratified sampling techniques were used in determining the appropriate sample sizes (180) respondent that were used for the study and a closed ended questionnaire was used in collecting data from the field. Concerning the relationship between the two-study variable, results from pearsons linear correlation coefficient revealed all existing employee selection practices are significantly correlated with all aspects of organizational performance in case of NPA (all sig. 0). This implies that an improvement in the selection procedures significantly improves organizational performance as per this study.
