Expanding the development operation: Embedding fundraisers ‘on the road’ to increase overall philanthropic impact

Abstract:
Advancement efforts represent a significant investment on the part of universities across the country and around the world. Effective programmes generate significant resources on behalf of the institutions with which they are affiliated. Even so, opportunities abound to further optimise programmes, allowing for cost and time savings, and better coverage of targeted populations of high capacity prospects. Establishing regional development operations, in key markets, is one way to maximise coverage and expand the overall impact of an advancement operation.
