Abstract: This paper explores the communications strategy and campaign developed by the University of East Anglia (UEA) for a major media announcement — the discovery of the royal shipwreck, the Gloucester. It will look at how the campaign, which involved collaboration between various teams within UEA’s Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing division and external partners, was planned and delivered, the outcomes achieved and lessons learnt.
