Abstract:
Correlations between personality variables and indicators of job success in different studies are shown and explanations for these findings are briefly explained. Furthermore work related competencies are focused and examples of modern online occupational personality measures are discussed critically. The meaning and partial neglect of work design measures in the field of competency modelling is pointed out, and a synthesis of personality and work based measures is given. Finally, implications for research and practical work are introduced, together with a short summary.
