Abstract: A high level of job satisfaction has, regardless of the degree of disability, not only a positive impact on the quality of life of employees, but also a positive effect on the company’s performance. Nevertheless, in standardized survey research there are hardly any approaches systematically dedicated to the job satisfaction of handicapped and non-handicapped employees. In this paper, we therefore pick up on earlier instruments and develop a proposal to measure general job satisfaction. Based on a survey in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, we verify different aspects of reliability and validity of the questionnaire. Thereby we confirm that the resulting data quality is satisfactory.
