Abstract: Autonomous technical systems (cyber physical systems ) will change the conditions for a learning-conducive work structure. The article introduces the new qualities of the 4.0 processes as well as discusses the related terms. For the first time in the history of technology, autonomous technical systems can take action and significantly influence learning in the work process. The ambivalences associated with this development open up design possibilities for learning-conducive work. However, the new technologies can lead to a new authoritarian Taylorism as well as to a humane and participatory advancement of the ability to act and the professional competence.
