Abstract:
The Comment by Mehmandoost Kotlar (2024) misses the main point in the Critique of the EU taxonomy put forward in Kooths (2023). This Critique does not discuss the targets underlying the EU taxonomy but claims that this policy instrument is unsuitable for reaching these targets.
