Abstract:
In this report, we conduct quality checks of the Census of Construction (years 2002, 2007, and 2012). First, we assess match rates between the CCN and establishments in the LBD. Second, we devise a method of predicting match rates for Construction establishments in the LBD, to be used to create weights that account for the probability of being surveyed for the CCN. Finally, we assess whether imputed values make a difference for our regression estimates that used CCN data.
