Abstract: This article presents an analysis of synergy in alliances between universities, companies, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and "Popular Power" organizations. Through interviews with representatives of these organizations, factors that favor and limit collaboration are identified, as well as a mapping of synergies and barriers. The findings suggest that effective communication, the definition of common objectives, and the construction of positive relationships are essential for the success of these alliances. Additionally, cultural differences and lack of trust are highlighted as significant barriers. This study provides a foundation for future research and practices in creating effective alliances, contributing to the development of strategies that maximize the social and economic impact of these collaborations
