Abstract:
The recent establishment of cloud computing and its increasing importance for consumers have attracted new ways of service creation and provisioning over the internet. Research has dealt with the establishment of new cloud computing markets and new opportunities for collaboration in these emerging markets. We found that the necessary decisions are very much similar to decisions that have to be made in “classic” offline supply chains. Based on methods for supplier selection, we develop and illustrate a method for the evaluation and selection of cloud services. The fuzzy AHP approach we propose allows decision makers to account for uncertainty in a proven, well-structured way
